Troickia was a figure well known in the Belarusian aviation industry. From 2007 to 2015, he headed the OJSC Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant – a plant specialized in repairs and modifications of Mi-8 helicopters. His career broke down in 2018 erstwhile he was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment in a maximum safety penal colony. The Belarusian court found him guilty of abuse of rights in the execution of the airport construction task between 2011 and 2013. Troickia himself claimed that he was the victim of a political intrigue for which the Ukrainian MP and Motor Sich's chief – Wiaczesław Bohuslayev was to be.
