
At the end of December 2025, the number of registered unemployed was 887.9 thousand, and unemployment rate has developed at 5.7%. This consequence was consistent with the forecasts of economists.
Situation in regions:
• Greater Poland – unemployment rate 3.5%, in Poznań 1.4%
• Warsaw – 1.5%; at the same time in the remainder of Mazowieckie voivodship the rate reaches 9%
• Silesia – 4.4%
• Malopolska – 4.7%
• east Macroregion – 8.4%, with a percent of districts exceeding 10%
• Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship – 9.3%
• Podkarpackie Region – 9.3%
In any sub-regions, the situation is even more difficult, with almost 13% unemployment in the Radom region and 12.8% in the Szczecin-Pyrzycki sub-region.
