At the end of the competition for the 5th Military Winter Sports Games, the representation of the Polish Army did not win any place on the podium. The best of the White-Red were the biathlonists in the patrol race and leek. Iwona Januszyk in sprinkling in high-mountain skiing – took 5th place. Poland ends in the games with 5 discs.
After 2 medals won by the biathlonist – silver in sprinkly width. Natalia Sidorowicz and silver women's teams – representatives of the Polish Army exhibited to compete in a typical military discipline, patrol run, were considered to be 1 of the candidates to take a place on the podium. Unfortunately, they lacked 1 more shot to their full happiness. In 5th position, she besides ended the competition in the last competition of high-mountain skiing – sprinkt – Lt. Iwona Januszyk. The gold medal was won by Swiss Marianne Fatton, a silver Frenchwoman Léna Bonnel, and the bronze German Tatjana Paller. To the six-man final, Lt Januszyk advanced with the 3rd score – 3 min 40.5 p. The fastest was Fatton (3 min 31 s), and the second Paller (3 min 38.9 s). On the another hand, st. scale. Maciej Staręga finished the competition in 12th position.
