Belgian ship with Polish pedigree launched

The aim of the rMCM programme is to modernise the Belgian Marinecomponent and the Dutch Koninklijke Marine mine forces. As a consequence of the global competition, its implementation was awarded to the Belgian Naval & Robotics peculiar intent consortium formed by the French shipbuilding company Naval Group and ECA Group (now Exail). It was with him that the Ministry of Defence of Belgium, liable for the implementation of the programme, signed a contract on 15 March 2019 for the transportation of 12 innovative City ships, six for each of these fleets, along with a set of unmanned vehicles (submarine, water, air) intended for the detection and demolition of mines.
