Beijing way – Shanghai by train 450 km/h

In 2007, China launched its first advanced velocity rail line (HSR). It was then HSR on the way from Qinhuangdao to Shenyang (now part of the Beijing-Harbin railway) with a dimension of 404 kilometres, that began regular courses reaching a velocity of 250 km per hour.

Since then, another generation of Chinese "bullet trains" has emerged. FuXing CR400 warehouses can now make speeds of up to 350 km/h. But this is not the last phase in the past of the improvement of Chinese high-speed railways.

The fresh HSR composition, called FuXing CR 450, has been successfully tested and will be able to decision up to 450 km/h. According to plans in 2025, this train will service Beijing-Shanghai's most popular railway route. As announced by representatives of the Chinese railway FuXing CR 450 will be crossing this way in 2 1/2 hours. Today, this journey takes about 4 hours.

HSR FuXing CR 450 required comprehensive investigation and improvement to introduce fresh solutions specified as automatic steering, fresh axle design, safety and operational monitoring systems, modernization of tracks and electrical traction.

FuXing CR 450 will be lighter than its predecessor by 12%, more environmentally friendly and more energy-efficient.

By the end of 2023, the Chinese railway network had a full of 159 000 km, including 45,000 km high-speed railway lines. By the end of 2025, the Chinese railway network is 165,000 kilometres long, including 50,000 kilometres of high-speed railways.
