Sokół, a chopper of Tatra Volunteer Rescue Ambulance, will undergo a major renovation - the portal tvn24.pl learned. The Ministry of the Interior and Administration intends to allocate over PLN 14 million in 2026. This has to do with the expanding frequency of chopper failures utilized for rescue operations in the Tatras. However, rescuers are waiting primarily for a fresh helicopter. - We're getting burned under our feet, they say.
