Léopold Chauveau – a French sculptor, illustrator and author – is highly dynamic and artistic in his stories. They attract images of the planet of animals and people, redefin their relationships and customs, show fresh perspectives and tame taboos. Return to this artist, or alternatively to discover it within the Polish discourse of children's literature, is simply a value in itself.
