Prohibition of gas imports from Russia with immediate effect. There are 2 exceptions

On Tuesday, the European Commission presented a draft regulation whereby, on 1 January 2026, Russian gas, including LNG, will enter into force immediately. but for the prohibition, long-term contracts and land-based countries are to be signed.
