In fresh days, ballot cards in the upcoming elections and referendums have become a popular subject of gossip. It concerns information that allegedly the referendum card will be sewn with ballot cards. This would make it hard to refuse to participate in the referendum. However, these claims are incorrect and are not actually covered.

The State Election Commission rapidly referred to the full case. In its "communication on false information about alleged merger of ballot cards in elections to the Sejm, legislature and national referendum" clear notedthat specified a course will not take place:
Due to false information distributed on social media, we inform that ballot cards will NOT be tense. It is not actual that 3 ballot cards will be sewn together or otherwise combined.
On pages RMF FM head of the National Election Office Magdalena Pietrzak besides explicitly denied circulating rumors. She confirmed that there is no voting work in the referendum and that any right to vote has the right to refuse to accept a referendum. The same conclusions besides come from PKW instructions on upcoming elections and referendums. It says:
No voter (a individual entitled to participate in a referendum) can and is not forced to vote in elections to any body or to participate in a referendum. The decision to take part in elections to a given body (e.g. to the Sejm or to the Senate) or in a referendum is so the sole decision of the voter (the individual entitled to participate in the referendum). In the case of a referendum held on the same day as elections to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and to the legislature of the Republic of Poland, the voter can so decide, only at his own discretion [...].
This means that only parliamentary elections can be taken, but besides referendums. The elector besides has the right to vote only to the Sejm or only to the Senate. This must be reported to the committee, and she will note this in the electoral registry and issue the cards we asked for.
Summary
Elections are always a hot time that fosters the emergence of many rumors. Many people make them available without any more reflection, following political failures. Therefore, all sensational messages should be approached with a large distance. The fact that ballots are sewn up is not actual and all voter has the full right to decide what vote they will take part in.
