No more mandatory retirement after 65. The government plans to reconstruct the erstwhile 70-year-old limit for bailiffs and asessors. A six-year limit on asessury will besides be abolished, which is intended to stabilise staff and supply greater flexibility in professional development. The changes are intended to counter age discrimination and respond to the rulings of the courts and the Ombudsman's demands. The amendment is expected to enter into force 14 days after publication.
