Backajugend. Lukashenko militarizes the young generation

Belarus expands the militarisation process of the education system. The papers revealed by BELPOL show that advanced school students will be directed to multi-day military-patriotic camps to become an integral part of the curriculum. Youth will no longer be limited to learning state defence theory, the programme will besides include field training, applicable activities and visits to active military units.
