B. Ratter: We can make our own system, no 1 can impose on us a abroad regent
date:May 11, 2024 Editor: Anna
Poland stands at the gateway of a fresh era today. This is simply a blessing to us that we can make our own system, that no 1 will impose on us a abroad regent, nor will he make us go under the yoke of a abroad spirit of the constitution - The importance of the Constitution for the future of the reborn state was written by Gazeta Lwowska in January 1919. However, the freedom which Polish weapons everywhere and always fought for is not the consequence of an armed trial with the enemy. The freedom that we are dealing with present is besides not the fruit of abstract principles, nor philosophical research. For it arises, like good laws, through the experience of everyday life and these insights which we make in our life into a series of facts. This explains why the nation is so afraid of placing power in the hands of the doctrinal, people separated from real life, for whom their own thought is more costly than the actual prosperity of the country. (Gazeta Lwowska 28.01.1919)

Is the nation present afraid of the effects of taking power by the doctrineists separated from the real life, for which the thought of global doctrineists, which the government like its own, wants to force us to inculcate? Subsequent governments did not take care of what the author of the article wrote in 1919: in order not to be a passive pawn, but to participate in governments and to talk through the widest of his representation, it is essential to be full aware and truly willing to act on himself.
The government should be an expression of large strength so that its weakness does not make it cruel. Russian Bolsheviks, powerless in their thin handful, look for appearances of force in incredibly bloody terror. The government must be wise to give respect to the law with the smallest designation of individual independence. Above all, the government must be demanded to be the moral force that everyone recognizes. Otherwise the government is based on bayonets of troops, spies and prisons - wrote the author in 1919.
This is what the irrational action of the current government dictated by EU directives is based on. precisely as for the Bolshevik government, which the author writes about:
When we look at the truly mad dance of the laws and regulations of the Bolshevik government in Russia, we see the full pedestal of the abrupt overturn. The reform, which wants to change all the relations that have been achieved, is doomed not only to fall but besides to the fact that it has triggered a reaction. A violent coup is building nothing permanent. The biggest changes take place slowly. Only what human thought has long been prepared and what is arranged with the will and wishes of all. Therefore, whether it is the Legislative Assembly or the average government before each reform, they must probe the national opinion and follow the line of will of the full society.(Gazeta Lwowska)
Unfortunately, present the government rejects the law, morality and will of the full society. And does society request that the government be a moral force?
On 29 April 1924 a Polish currency was introduced as a consequence of the monetary improvement of then Minister of Finance Władysław Grabski. The name was besides wondered what the same issue of the Lwowska paper informs:
Professor Oswald Balzer, who is well-deserved for Polish science, made valuable remarks on the question of what to call a monetary unit in the fresh Polish country. Our dear student is against names that are more or little unfortunate, specified as "past" or "field" and especially "polon", and concludes that it would be most appropriate to keep the ancient name of "golden" sanctified by the ancient tradition.
It is not essential to be a specialist in this substance to consider prof. Balzer's arguments to be valid, but it may not be hard for the profan, specified as the undersigned, to add his 3 cents to the solutions that should arise in this matter.
Although prof. Balzer calls all projects to this extent, not only those which have already appeared, but besides those which may yet appear, in the pulpit he calls unfortunate and even "more and more disgusting freaks", I dare callback that at the end of October I made a proposal to call the Polish monetary unit "lechem".
Probably due to the Ukrainian assassination, only the Morning paper had already announced this task in the November 1 issue. In view of prof. Balzer, who does not mention my proposal, it might be worth considering whether this name is besides unfortunate. As for me, naturally, I am willing to defend my proposal to the ground.
The main charge of the prof. against the name "sand" is that it is not appropriate to place the name of the first and very deserved Polish dynasty on regular disgrace in the dirtiest trade fairs and boarders. I uncertainty if that kind of consideration was taken by any nation. After all, on the coins of the full planet and Poland, images of large and venerated rulers by all nations were placed, and in this way they did not hesitate to exposure to akin disfiguration.
I realize the motives cited by Prof. Balzer in defence of the erstwhile name “gold” or “Polish gold”. And I find that in many cases it would be better to reconstruct the old names forgotten than to make freaks that do not correspond to the spirit of the tongue. But the fresh era that begins for our nation may require fresh determinants, unless tradition has left us the right ones. And that is why I dare to talk out mainly for applicable reasons against the name "gold". The adjective form itself does not urge further use. Although we had onga in addition to mine and another adjective names, e.g. "Czech" (Czech grosz), inactive in Lviv any say "new", alternatively of cent, but this cannot be an argument behind the name "golden". The time of the natural economy erstwhile the money was mediocrity has passed, we live in a time of capitalism, erstwhile the money movement is huge, erstwhile billions are going on for millions, erstwhile it is essential to give things the names and forms as simple, short, succinct and convenient to applicable use.
After all, in the fever of the life of the coming era it will be much more applicable to talk and write: so many “lechów” than so many “golden Polish”.

Oh, my God.
