B. Ratter: Maintaining the best relations with Ukrainians keep the essential distance
date:02 March 2025 Editor: Anna
From 1939 to 1941 there was a good half of Ukrainian Lviv, a large part of Prague, Berlin, Warsaw and many another provinces of our borderless emigration derzhava. Life was a mess. During the day in various offices, editorial offices and institutions. At night after cafes and restaurants. People were naughty, hardworking, and for a reason. In addition, almost everyone was well-mannered, well-earned and possibly more prosperous than at home," wrote Ulas Samczuk in his book entitled On White Horses (Winnipeg 1972). Hope for a return little, Ukrainian substance not very clear. But it's official. Unofficially, everyone believed that they'd open their way back, that they'd re-emerge a liberating cause... Individually active aggressive and self-confident were the OUN troops who firmly believed in their future and were preparing to take power in Ukraine" (Ulas Samczuk )

Ukrainians (as otherwise represented in pro-Ukrainian and anti-Polish propaganda) inactive live in prosperity and behave identically. Then the German Russian alliance continued.
"Only the full sovereign Ukrainian Derzhava - proclaimed the unscrupulous banders - can warrant the nation free life and full comprehensive improvement of all forces." This “Ukrainian derzhava” can only be obtained “on the way of revolutionary combat against invaders”. It was apparent that the Germans were not invaders but “liberators”. This impertinent attitude did not necessarily appeal to the politician Hans Frank, who said on 6 November 1940 to the assembled officials, military and officers:
“We are all occupied by Ukrainian affairs. However, I powerfully ask you to explain to the heads of their offices that, while Ukrainians are friends of the German people, they are not its trustees. Maintaining the best relations with Ukrainians keep the essential distance, avoid in solemn speeches to Ukrainians return large Ukraine. I am besides informing you against constantly hanging up flags about Ukrainian colours or pushing Ukrainians out besides much on parades as representatives of your own people. Ukrainians are citizens of the large German Reich erstwhile they inhabit the German area. They are not representatives of the large Ukraine on German soil”. ( Hans Frank's Journal, Warsaw 1956)
Unfortunately, the “Polish” government and local government authorities do not keep the essential distance and even encourage citizens to liquidate it, treat Ukrainians as trustees of the Polish nation, besides let for the constant hanging of flags about Ukrainian colours in Warsaw, Krakow or late in Poznań, and in places highly crucial for Polish identity like Kościuszko Mound, although Ukrainians inactive live in the Polish area. They are not representatives of Ukraine on Polish soil.
The intention of the banders to call to life at all costs of their government was born in Krakow. To this end, they established the Ukrainian National Committee. The first gathering was held in Rzeszów, attended by 116 people. The participants signed a call, which Dr. Horbowska called "The Declaration of the Rights of Ukrainian Citizen". Roman Ilnyćkij writes that the UNK held its first real gathering on 22 June, and so on the day of German aggression against the USSR. The editorial committee set up by Bandera developed a peculiar memorial to the Reich's chief authorities.
In this memorial Revolutionary Provid presented to the Germans all that links them with Ukrainians, and that Ukrainians represented by the banders are ready for “great cooperation and partnership” in the war with the russian Union. At the same time, they considered themselves experts and enemy experts, which Germany should appreciate if they are serious about winning in the east. They demanded that they be considered an entity in all Ukrainian-German relations. “ This memorial is based on the belief that the full complex of issues is crucial due to its serious consequences not only for Ukraine but besides for the German Reich. Finally, a strong accent: "Without the self-serving Ukrainian Derzhava there is an unthinkable fresh order in Europe".
In order to make this order stable, then, it is essential to give power in Ukraine of the CNS (b), due to the fact that otherwise it may be different. (They threatened like Natalia Panchenko) . "Even if German troops are initially welcome as liberating erstwhile entering Ukraine, they have argued that specified an attitude can change rapidly if the Germans enter Ukraine without intending to renew the Ukrainian Derzhava and usage the applicable passwords."
Ukraine is to be according to the bander—in the thought of the German imperial concept, incorporated into the economical bloodstream of III Things, so it should besides have any “economic sovereignty”. In words, "the interests of both nations require a natural relationship, German - Ukrainian relations must be built on actual friendship". This relationship can only be guaranteed by the banders, who have “independent Ukrainian armed forces that correspond to the spirit of Ukraine, who will warrant the German - Ukrainian union and may weaken Russia's force on Europe. (Edward Prussia Banderomachia, 2007)
History is rolling. Then the most crucial for the CNS and at the same time the most dangerous for Jews and Poles were the political guidelines developed for Ukrainian fascists, who were tasked with creating a field power apparatus to destruct Jews (and plunder their wealth) , to throw out from the offices and another state and local positions, to exclude all their assimilation, and to condemn them to demolition in the future. The same was actual for Poles, but with any delay. In the second circular of genocidal actions it will be done by UPA - first its “avanguard” was created by a combination of battalions “Nachtigall” and “Roland” of the hen named Konwałcia ended the liquidation of Volyn Jews, then the hen already as UPA began the slaughter of Poles. And what are the modern - day rulers doing?
Edward Prussia (2007) : Currently, the banders, and after all they are not always missing in Poland under their own names, (it happens that under the names of their victims, as they have shown many times their judicial processes), question the authenticity of papers that burden their conscience. They may be considered as counterfeits, allegedly forged by Bolsheviks or Poles. However, there are physically people who are ready to confirm the authenticity of the paper presented. Ukrainian, the Italian Volodymyr Vasylakij, while on emigration among his fellow countrymen, but Ukrainian nationalists, learned a lot from them “bitter truth”.
He worked with many of the banners on the alleged American Committee for Combating Bolshevism. The Banders were expected to act there – said Wasylakij – with the approval of Bandera himself – of which they were very arrogant and boasted. Vasylakij came to the conclusion, and finally, to the certainty that he was dealing with a large format of bandits who were besides “upholstered” with their “works” demonstrating how they murdered, strangled or slaughtered Polish women. Therefore, he later spoke of them with disgust as common massacres.
In their boasts, they felt safe and unpunished, having over themselves a developed umbrella of American peculiar services. I've learned very well the movement of Bandera in 1 of the classified papers written by Bandera. Thus he taught his people: “Our authority should be terrible. It is recommended to destruct all those who will defy the baner regime; to destruct mainly Polish intelligence, to expel Poles from institutions - Ukrainians are to be managers".
Oh, my God.
