The intention to carry out specified tests BMP-3 Sinica announced Sergei Czemesov, the CEO of Russian arms holding Rostiech. The vehicle itself was shown [among another things, in the video footage prepared by the Russian state tv Zwiezda](https://defence24.pl/industrial/robotized-bmp-3-na-tests) last March. However, the car tests started much earlier. The public first saw the vehicle at the Armenian 2022 fair. Czemezov himself announces that automation of military equipment will proceed. As an example of possible installation of the system, Sinica gave late implemented light tank (fire support truck) 2S25 Sprut-SDM1. Thus we see another signal from the Russian manufacture with expanding possible to make autonomous solutions based on the presently manufactured equipment. The work on optionally unmanned BMP-3 Sinica is responsible, among others, for Kurganmaszawód, the National investigation Institute “Signal” and the NPO High-Tool Complexes (part of Rostiech).
