Abrams charging machine

For M1A1 and M1A2 Abrams tanks already in the 1990s, the company [Western plan Howden (now Parker Meggitt Defense)](https://meggittdefense.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/120mmCompactAutoloader.pdf), developed specified solutions, called Compact Autoloader. This solution could be built in an existing tower of these tanks or in a fresh tower developed from scratch to usage the charging machine.
