Austria denied the United States the usage of its airspace for military operations related to the war between the US and Israel and Iran," reported the Austrian Ministry of Defence on Thursday, as a reason for stating state neutrality.
A spokesperson for the ministry informed APA that respective US transport applications had been made.
On Monday, the Spanish Government closed its airspace for military flights related to the war with Iran. According to media reports, Italy besides refused respective U.S. aircraft to land on a base in Sicily.
