According to the Salzburg police, the body of a Slovak citizen was found in the Austrian Alps on Saturday. The search continued since Friday.
A 40-year-old man who went to the Alps for skiing was found dead as a consequence of a broad search action, started Friday evening after reporting his disappearance.
Prior to this accident, the European Law Enforcement Service (EAWS) reported that it had reported 30 avalanche deaths in the Alps from early October to late March.
