Australian K9 Getting Closer to Service

Australia in 2021 signed a contract with Hanwha defence Australia to supply a full of 30 cannonohaubic AS9 (modified version K9A1) and AS10 ammunition trucks (Australian variant K10) whose first transportation is scheduled to take place in 2025. The first 2 copies of artillery and ammunition truck will be made in South Korea. Another 42 vehicles (28 AS9 and 14 AS10) will already be produced at Hanwha Defence Australia plants close Avalon, Victoria. The local assembly and production of AS9 and AS10 is expected to start in 2024 and the first vehicles are expected to be received in the following year (but they will most likely be cars produced in Korea).
