Australian AWACS completes mission in Europe

Preparations began this week to complete the six-month Operation Kudu. The intent of the Australian mission was to support global forces in early informing of a possible threat from Russia. The aircraft had been stationed for the past six months at the German base in Rammstein, where up to 100 members of the Australian Defence Force were stationed.
