Australia orders first Kongsberg JSM missiles

On September 5, the Australian Department of Defence announced the signing of an agreement with the Norwegian company Kongsberg for the acquisition and transportation of the first batch of JSM anti-ship missiles, which are to be utilized as armament for Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II multi-role combat aircraft.
