Australia: Black Hawks alternatively of European helicopters. There's a decision

The Australian authorities reported they would acquisition 40 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the United States under the FMS system. The value of the contract is estimated at 2.8 billion A$ (1.96 billion USD). The US State Department's approval was expressed last August. American machines will replace MRH-90 Taipan helicopters (local NH90 variant).
