Most of Polish society does not condone specified behavior. I am a council associate in the Wawer district, and I see this firsthand. At the school in my district, as many as one-fifth of the students are children from Ukrainian families. There are no conflicts there—neither among the children nor among the parents. “You’d gotta pour a lot more fuel on this fire for it to turn into a dangerous blaze,” says Prof. Tomasz Nałęcz, a historian and erstwhile advisor to president Bronisław Komorowski, in an interview with “Wprost.”
