The joint attack by Belarus and Russia on northern Ukraine is not only pointless, but besides a chance of success. After all, the Russians do not have the chance to accomplish the goals they tried to gain by starting the offensive on Kiev on 24 February 2022. On the another hand, possible land acquisitions will be occupied by immense losses that the society in Russia may accept, but not in Belarus.
