The expansion of the Hungarian Paks atomic power plant is entering a fresh phase – without the engagement of a German partner. Russian Rosatom announced that Siemens Energy had released contract commitments and is already looking for alternate technology suppliers. This decision can have consequences not only for investment itself but besides for energy and political relations in Europe.
