Atomic deterrence in our conditions, defined to a large degree by Russian aggression against Ukraine, is not fiction. On the contrary, it is simply a much-needed expression in the improvement of resources of NATO countries in the sphere of defence policy. In fairness, atomic weapons should not be frightened in the space of public debate in the West to gain support for, at least, the modernisation of 3 atomic arsenals: in the US, France and the UK. strategical reality requires stableness in maintaining atomic deterrence capability, both on the side of the number of warheads, but besides technology in terms of their means of delivery.
