Atomic bombs vs. aircraft carriers. F-35 in the crosshairs

In the UK, there is an ongoing dispute over the acquisition of more F-35 fighters. The Royal Air Force is pushing to buy more F-35 fighters in the A version, adapted to take off from land airports and capable of carrying atomic weapons. On the another hand, however, these machines cannot take off from British aircraft carriers.
