Russia reported the deployment of atomic charges in field warehouses in Belarus.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defence, the action is part of the ongoing atomic exercises conducted jointly with Minsk. The maneuvers that began on 19 May and will last until 21 May are designed to check the readiness to usage atomic weapons deployed in Belarus. Moscow previously reported that atomic warheads had already been mounted on Iskander-M rockets, which ranged about 500 kilometres.
Moscow's subsequent communications on the deployment of atomic weapons in Belarus are seen as part of military and political force on NATO and states supporting Ukraine.
