The Minister of Digitization Krzysztof Gawkowski and Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz signed a letter of intent on setting up the Artificial Intelligence Fund. “We will be building a large institute in Poland to deal with artificial intelligence,” announced the head of the Ministry of Digitalism. For the improvement of AI Poland is to allocate a billion PLN.

– Artificial intelligence It is something unique for the modern state, but it should be a man who decides on its development," said Minister of Digitalism Krzysztof Gawkowski during the conference in connection with the signing of the letter of intent regarding the creation of the Artificial Intelligence Fund. – We are building a mechanics that will coordinate all State expenditure on artificial intelligence – he added. The planned expenditure amounts to PLN billion. Their detailed planning is to be presented next year.

The initiative is attended by the Ministry of Digitization, National Defence and discipline and Higher Education, as well as the National Centre for investigation and Development, National discipline Centre, Polish improvement Fund and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. On behalf of their ministries, the letter of intent was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
