The U.S. Army (US Army) underwent a restructuring in 2009-2010, which focused on the alleged Brigade Combat Teams, which corresponded to the then realities of war with terrorist organizations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the divisions were something of a modular command under which various brigades could be subjugated as needed. Currently, this solution no longer full responds to the realities and future needs, and forces us to return to divisional structures with organic brigades permanently subject to individual divisions.
