Armies of the World: Kadirovtans

Today in the Armies of the planet we discussed the Chechen armed formation serving on the side of Russia in the invasion against Ukraine. On February 26th, Chechnya politician and ally of Vladimir Putin, Ramzan Kadyrov, confirmed that his Chechen troops were participating in the Russian invasion. As reported by the Ukrainian side, the Russians at the beginning of the invasion were supported by troops of, among others, the 141st Motorized Regiment of the Chechen National defender unit, which was initially commanded by Magomet Tushaev.
