Airborne Army Officer: The day the war broke out and we came to the unit, our first question was this erstwhile we moved and in what direction. Of course, it was known that we would not go to Ukraine, but we thought we would gotta pack and go to the east border. Everyone had to remember where the tank, basic sleeping bag, carimata, knife. It didn't come from the commanders. We ourselves, soldiers, started doing this due to the fact that if an order was given to leave, it would be easy to pack and complete the equipment. We thought the superiors would say, "Pack up, get your gear ready, due to the fact that by forty-eight hours there could be a departure." That's why on the same day I got all the home stuff, paid the bills. But in fact, nothing happened in the military, nothing changed.

Ground Army Officer: We were convinced that we would be raised to consecutive feet in the sense that either very intense training would begin or that the troops would spread to the east border. We thought we'd be sent there to do a show of strength. But that didn't happen. Even the information about the upswing of the conflict came to us late. As part of that uplift, nothing large happened either. The commanders have calculated individual status, equipment, that's all. It's just the strategy blew up a small bit.
