Argentina can become NATO's fresh partner

During the meeting, Argentina expressed its intention to become an alliance partner. The nature of the partnership within the NATO alliance is circumstantial to each partner country, depending on where it wants to work with the alliance. In the case of Argentina, there is so far no authoritative information on what principles this cooperation would be based on or what objectives the Argentines would like to accomplish through it. However, after the statements made by the Argentine minister, it can be assumed that the establishment of the partnership will have affirmative effects in the form of military development, including joint training. So far NATO has been working with 40 countries and organisations in partnership, but only 1 in South America - Colombia.
