Apple accelerates the production of AI servers in Houston

Apple began shipping AI servers produced in the US from a fresh mill in Houston earlier than planned, confirmed the company's COO, Sabih Khan.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Apple's Operations manager Sabih Khan confirmed that the company is sending US-produced AI servers from a fresh mill in Houston before the deadline.

The 250 000 square feet plant was created as part of Apple's investment in infrastructure worth $600 billion. The first test units were manufactured in July and mass production was to start in 2026. These servers will be crucial for the improvement of Apple Intelligence and Private Cloud Computing technology.

At the beginning of that year, the construction of a fresh mill supporting the production of advanced Apple servers began in Houston, and in July the plant produced the first test unit. The 250,000 square feet server production facility is expected to start mass production in 2026.
