Waldemar Żurek appeared on Tuesday at a gathering of the National Judicial Council (CRS), where he announced that the council had been elected in a defective manner. Addressing the “neossiers” gathered at the meeting, he stressed that he would search to “leave the building”.
The head of the Justice Ministry then published a video on social media in which he explained why the KRS was acting against the law. — Legal is the Minister of Justice, the typical of the President, the president of the NSA and parliamentarians. Żurek stressed that "Neo-KRS is simply a dune" and that "the continued functioning of this body in specified a composition generates compensation for which we all taxpayers pay". “I will not be a part of this and I appeal to legal members: don’t hold that by your name,” said the head of MS.
Neo-KRS illegal
Following the changes in law that the Law and Justices introduced in 2017, members of the National Courts are appointed not by judges from all over Poland, but by politicians in the Sejm. In this way, since 2018 the KRS has been mainly visited by people closely associated with Zbigniew Ziobra and another policies of the United Right.
