An anti-communist opposition appeal

An appeal to all the environments at the heart of our Homeland

We, the undersigned, those fighting for the freedom of Poland during the period of the Polish People's Republic, in the face of an increasingly complicated global situation and weakening our country's interior conflicts, let ourselves to appeal for the cooperation of those Poles who agree with our diagnosis that Poland's welfare depends mostly on the unification of patriotic communities (not only political groups, but besides associations and local groups). In specified a hard situation, it is not crucial what makes us different (especially erstwhile these differences are tertiary), it is crucial what unites us – love for the Homeland.

We come from Tarnow – cities that are considered the First Independent. This peculiarly requires concern for the destiny of our Homeland. Even if we do not agree on everything, proposing different solutions and criticizing another people's proposals, it does not mean that we cannot unite now to work together for the welfare of the White and Red, both in local governments, for our small Homeland and in the European forum.

As a first step towards bringing together various patriotic environments, we propose organizing a kind of legislature of Unification for the Good of the Republic (e.g. in Tarnów or Krakow?), even before Christmas.

We trust that our appeal will meet with knowing and affirmative reaction, having its finale in the formation of a powerful coalition of people of good will, who like the individual prejudice to the good of the Republic of Poland.
