In this text, we do not intend to enter into a polemic with all those who unreflexively teardrop apart robes like Caiaphas and wonder how to take distant the parliamentary mandate from Grzegorz Braun. I would like to address only those Catholics who joined the anathema throwing. If individual does not feel belonging to the Catholic Church, he will not find anything for himself in this text.
Grzegorz Braun was condemned by a number of Catholics who so far seemed to represent an orthodox approach to the Church, let us replace Przemysław Czarnek or Marek Jurek here. The second even accused the environment associated with Grzegorz Braun of sectarianism, which rejects the Old Testament tradition. It is worth noting here that David Mysior the author of the Catholic channel at the very beginning criticized MP Braun, but after a fewer days he looked back and changed his mind. So possibly just a reflection?
Does Gregory Braun reject the Old Testament? Nothing more wrong, Grzegorz Braun stands up for the Old Testament! The Old Testament brought man an imperfect law which needed as a kid to grow up to the full perfection which Christ brought through his grace. The Book of the Old Testament revolves around temple worship and, in fact, the Temple of Jerusalem is the center of the Biblical religion of Israel. Do rabbinic Judaism cults have any spiritual worship?
There is no logical or theological continuity between the religion of Biblical Israel and those of modern Judaism. The temple cult is exercised exclusively by the Church, which has become “New Israel”, it has maintained full continuity with the Messianic prophecies of the Old Testament, which referred to a peculiar natural individual alternatively than to the people. Thus, the Catholic Church constitutes Israel as to the spirit.
In this context, how can we justify the actions of Simon Holown, who is considered to be a Catholic and who participates in the parity practices of Chabad-Lubacz? St. Paul wrote:
‘This is me, Paul, I say unto you, If ye be circumcised, Christ shall be of no usage to you. And one more time I declare to all man who undergoes circumcision: he is obliged to keep all the provisions of the Law. You have broken ties with Christ; all you who search justification in the Law have fallen from grace. We, with the aid of the Spirit, look forward to the expected righteousness on the basis of faith. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor its absence have any meaning, but religion that works through love. You've run so great! Who prevented you from sticking to the truth? This influence does not come from the 1 calling you. any acid has the power to leave a full cake. I have religion in you in the Lord that you will not be of a different opinion than I am. And upon him who sows confusion among you will be the conviction of condemnation, whatever he may be. As for me, brothers, if I proceed to preach circumcision, why am I inactive persecuted? After all, then the stumbling of the cross would cease. Those who incite you may have been crippled to the end.” — Ga 5: 2-12
Thus, what was simply a symbol--circumcision, cannot be equivalent to a being, so the grace that Christ gives us. All judaic Catholics match those who protested the resolutions of the Jerusalem Council, who yet separated the Church from the Synagogue, he told Christ – yes, and rejecting Christ – no.
What about today’s Catholics? These seem to talk to the Synagogue--yes, and to Christ--not.
