The Sejm voted to take immunity from Antoni Macerewicz. 240 Members voted for, 190 against and 9 Members abstained.

The motion to waive the immunity of a associate of the Law and Justice came to the Sejm in early July. Adam Bodnar, who served as Minister of Justice and lawyer General, directed him to the lower chamber of parliament.

Bodnar argued that he intended to charge Macerewicz with revealing state secrecy in connection with the work of the Smolensk Subcommittee.

How did the individual Members vote? In favour of the waiver of immunity there were 155 MPs KO, 31 from PSL, 28 Polish 2050, 20 MPs left, 4 from Together and 2 non-attached MPs. 178 PiS Members, 5 Confederations, 4 Free Republicans and 3 Members of the Confederation of the Polish Crown voted against. 9 Confederate Members abstained.
