The Hymns of planet Nations: South Caribbean Coast

It is the erstwhile Zelaya department on the east coast of the country, along the celebrated Moscow Coast, under British protectorate. It was incorporated into the Nicaraguan border in 1894 after being annexed by then president José Santos Zelaya. In 1987, the vast area was territorially divided into 2 autonomous regions: the South Caribbean Coast and the North Caribbean Coast. The capital of the Autonomous Region of the South Caribbean Coast is Bluefields, in 1988 severely destroyed by Hurricane ‘Joan’.
