

The Leader of Law and Justice, Jarosław Kaczyński, as well as another politicians of the party, laid a wreath at the monument. His motion did not meet the indifference of the assembled, for in the background there were shouts from the participants of the countermanifest, among which there were words specified as “liar” or “enough of these nonsense.”
In the past, Kaczyński reacted to akin behaviours, specified as breaking banners. This time, however, he chose silence, and after the wreath ceremony he went distant towards the waiting car without interacting with the protesters.

Tradition was done erstwhile Zbigniew Komosa, who had paid tribute to the victims of the disaster for years, besides laid his wreath. His actions, although supported by a court judgment, sometimes give emergence to controversy, especially in the context of the contents of the plaque attached to the wreath. Nevertheless, in the presence of many police forces, Komosa besides fulfilled his intention without major obstacles.
