“Today's war in Ukraine clearly demonstrates the importance of artillery armament. In light of the lessons learned from Ukraine, we have made fast decisions to equip both infantry brigades with additional K9 Kõu mobile howitzers and take Estonia's indirect fire capability to a full fresh level,” said Estonian defence Minister Hanno Pevkur. The Defence Investment Center of Estonia has signed a contract for the acquisition of additional K9 Kõu self-propelled cannon howitzers.
