Lieutenant Jan Rodowicz, "Anoda", a scout, a soldier of the Grey Ranks, the celebrated "Zośka" Battalion, was wounded 4 times in the Warsaw Uprising, decorated with the Cross of Valour and Virtuti Militari. Arrested by the secret police, on 7 January 1949, after a fewer days of the UB investigation, he was already dead. And although the authoritative version inactive speaks of suicide (he was expected to have jumped from the 4th level of the building of the Ministry of Public safety – present the Ministry of Justice – at Koszykowa Street in Warsaw), no 1 believes in it.
