Hollywood star and UN ambassador of goodwill Angelina Jolie visited Cherson. Her surprise visit is to be another motion of solidarity with the Ukrainians affected by the war.
Photos of Angelina Jolie, an American actor and ambassador to the United Nations, who visited Cherson in the south of Ukraine, appeared on social media," said Suspine portal. Jolie has been publically supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion in February 2022.
The visit has not yet been officially confirmed by the authorities, but Ukrainian media believe it is humanitarian. The pictures published show Jolie gathering with her children in an anti-aircraft shelter.

The actor was already in Ukraine on April 30, 2022 as a peculiar UN exile envoy. At the time, she spoke to people fleeing fights and volunteers helping out at the station in Lviv.
