The Management Board of the Polish Olympic Committee adopted a resolution recommending a individual named Andrzej Duda as a associate of the global Olympic Committee. The President, as it all points out, would like to be president of the MKOl after his word of office.

Before that, Kazimierz Duke Lubomirski (1922-30), Ignacy Matuszewski (1928-39), Stanisław Rouppert (1931-46), Jerzy Loth (1948-61), and Włodzimierz Reczek (1961-2004) sat at the IKOL.
Andrzej Duda's second presidential word ends in August. The first session of the MKOl after the date at which it could be elected a associate of the MKOl is scheduled in February 2026 in Milan, on the occasion of the Winter Olympics. Formally, however, there is no obstacle to choosing the head of state. A session will be held in Greece in March 2025, but the main item will be the election of Bach's successor as president.
The full number of IOC members must not exceed 115, presently 111.
All members are elected for an eight-year renewable term. Members of the MKOl elected from 1967 to 1999 may service up to the age of 80 and elected after 1999 until the age of 70.
Among the 115 members of 70 is not related to any circumstantial function or office, 15 are representatives of the players, another 15 derives from the heads of the planet sports federations and the same from those in charge of the national Olympic committees or their continental associations.
