On Wednesday (August 6th), the fresh president of Poland – Karol Nawrocki will be sworn in. Andrzej Duda finishes 2 terms and says goodbye to the office after 10 years. Although his professional future remains unknown, it is certain that he plans to return to his hometown.

Andrzej Duda will return to Krakow

According to "Super Express", Andrzej Duda and his wife bought an flat in a quiet territory of Prądnik Biała, in the northern part of Krakow, as well as during his presidency. Until now, the president has only occasionally visited them.

The diary spoke to the neighbors of the fresh tenant. 1 interviewer admitted that he had seldom seen him so far, but is happy to have more opportunities. He's a good guy. I will shake hands with him and hope to talk about Poland – said Mr Władysław Lalik.

Mr.Adam takes it calmly: – If he comes back here and I meet him, I will tell him a good morning, due to the fact that he is simply a celebrated figure, and then everyone will go their own way. I have a neutral relation with him.

– I'm 82. I'm having a stroke, and I'm not leaving the house. Unless he knocks on my door, we'll talk," Basia says.

After moving to Krakow, Andrzej Duda will be able to deal with everyday matters, specified as mowing grass or snowing the yard. According to the Super Express, the flat building where she and her wife live is simply a tiny building where only 3 families live. The obligations related to the maintenance of the common area are to be shared among residents.

Duda goes on "Presidential retirement"

Next Wednesday, Andrzej Duda, at the age of 53, will end his second word and cease to be president. The media has been asking questions about his further professional plans for a long time.

As we wrote in NaTemat.pl, last December the Management Board of the Polish Olympic Committee (PKOl) accepted president Duda's candidacy as a associate of the global Olympic Committee. This information was confirmed by PKOl president Radosław Piesiewicz.

In the end, however, Andrzej Duda will not become a associate of the ICC. During the gathering in Athens, there was no mention of the possible acceptance of the Polish president in the ranks of members of the Committee. Subsequent meetings at which Duda may be invited to participate will be held in 2026.

Andrzej Duda announces that he does not intend to quit political activity entirely. In an interview with Radio Zet in May, he said he "allowed" the chance to become Prime Minister. The United Surveys survey for Virtual Poland shows that 28.4 percent of respondents would see Duda in this position, and 52.8 percent are against it.
