Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik, who were sentenced legally, were arrested at the Presidential Palace last Tuesday. They were then transported to the police station and then to the detention center in Grochów. At the time of his arrest, president Andrzej Duda was not present in the palace as he met with the Belarusian opposition leader, Swiatlana Cichanouska, in Belvedere.
When the president was informed on the telephone by the President's Chancellery chief, Grażyna Ignaczak-Bandych, of the detention of Kamiński and Wąsik ministers, he immediately made his decision to return. The video from the camera installed on bus line 180 was published on the Internet. The film, which was released, dates back to January 9, and recorded events took place between 7:11 and 19:13.

Spokeswoman: It wasn't intentional
TVN24 spoke to the spokesperson for the Capital City Hall, Monika Beuth, on this issue. She replied that there was no reason to claim that there had been deliberate blocking of the departure. She explained that the bus stopped at the lights due to a brake failure and could not move. According to a memo from the Municipal Transport Board, the situation lasted precisely 17 minutes – from 19.04 to 19.21. Beuth added that there were safety and police officers on site.
Meuth reported that after 17 minutes the bus was towed by a bus ambulance. She admitted that this is 1 of the many method failures that happen in Warsaw during cold and specified weather. She denied the proposition that it might have been a deliberate action of a driver, a town hall or individual else.
