Former president of the Hungarian ultimate Court Dr. Andras Baka officially took office as president of Hungary, ending a temporary transitional period in the head of the state. The fresh president, supported by the ruling Tisza group, took office as a consequence of deep constitutional reforms initiated by Prime Minister Peter Magyar.
