During the presidential debate in Koński Magdalena Biejat took the rainbow flag from Rafał Trzaskowski. It looked like a spontaneous gesture, but as Maja Wójcikowska from TVN24 revealed, the candidate got the thought from her staff. She told me precisely what was going on in the crutches.

The rainbow flag at the debate in Konski appeared at the initiative of Karol Nawrocki. It was a peculiar gift for Rafał Trzaskowski – the PiS candidate approached his rival and put the flag on his desktop. But he decided to hide the flag.

When she noted this in the debate Magdalena Biejat from the left came to the president of Warsaw and asked Trzaskowski to give her the rainbow flag. “I am not ashamed of her, I will gladly take over from you,” she said, and after a while she put her on her desktop. It was fundamentally 1 of the most expressive gestures during the debate on Friday.

Kulisy debate in Konski. Biejat was expected to get a clue

More said TVN24 writer Maja Wójcikowska, who was there and saw what was happening behind the scenes of the event broadcast on 3 televisions. In the show "In the Kuluaras", she explained more precisely what she had noticed.

– Observing this tension and focus spoke a lot – stressed Wójcikowska and referred to the minute of taking the Trzaskowski flag. I don't know if you noticed, but you can see it, scrolling and phones in the hands of politicians due to the fact that they had phones there. Magdalena Biejat from the staff got this thought – she revealed.

The program leader Piotr Kraśko asked if anyone had suggested Biejat to take the flag. It was expected to be. She went, made that gesture. (...) This is besides a symbol of this debate," she added.

The debate on the flag and the usage of phones during the debate was besides attended by Radomir Wit. That's what staff is for. There's besides a school that if individual enters the debate, it's cut off from everything. Everything depends on what the rules are and how we will agree, but in our country the culture of debate is very different," said TVN24 journalist.
