Anatomy of Self-Criage: Why in Poland the fact became an enemy

“People usually search not fact but confirmation of their own illusions.” – Bertrand Russell

We live in a country that cultivates its illusions with fascinating, though painful precision. This is not the thesis of publicist exaltation. It's just a brutal diagnosis of everyday life. We see that, although cognition of manipulation is common, paradoxically, the top enemy does not become a puller, but 1 who dares to indicate the mechanics of their action.

"Truth, like gold, can be obtained not by expanding its quantity, but by rinsing everything that is not." Lev Tolstoy

The fact in discourse has ceased to be a superior value, and has become a scarce commodity, even dangerous. For it has 1 unforgivable feature for many – it does not give sacred peace... It requires an intellectual and emotional effort, to which it is convenient to believe that “it will happen” effectively discourages. It is easier to dedicate hostility to a man who pulls us out of lethargy than to face the fact that our erstwhile thoughts were simply a comfortable lie. It is simply a intellectual phenomenon in which anger shifts from the center of manipulation to the messenger of bad news. The spitting of individual who warns of the abyss is far little demanding than stopping and changing the chosen path. The fact spoils the comfort of self-cloaking, in which so many found their marina.

“Three things cannot be hidden: the sun, moon and truth.” – Buddha

In this kind of absurd theatre, roles were separated in a perverse way. A liar, who plays well on emotions, is promoted to authority, becoming a guide to the lost. Meanwhile, the individual telling the fact is being marginalized, becoming public enemy number one. It does not fit the arrangement, without being bought with compliments or threats, and most importantly – storms the intricately built facade of a common thought of the world. It is worth noting, however, that this reluctance to fact is besides evidence of its tremendous strength. If the fact is so intensely emotional, it means that it can inactive decision the foundations on which lies lie. People fear the fact not due to the fact that it is weak, but due to the fact that it is final.

“In a time of common lies, telling the fact is simply a revolutionary act‘’ George Orwell

Are we doomed to endure forever in illusion? past teaches that even the strongest building of lies falls apart under the influence of a consistent testimony. In countries where fact is pushed into the corner, anyone who decides to talk it loudly ceases to be only an individual – becomes a voice of conscience. In a planet that is so afraid of mirrors, authenticity is the most extremist form of rebellion. Let us not look for hope in all of this for fast change, but for the permanent sowing of the seed of reflection. Even if present the fact teller is an intruder, next day he may become the only point of mention in the sea of chaos. The fact does not request an applause; it simply is—and at the right time it will claim its own.
