"In September 2025, a Chinese container ship Istanbul Bridge, belonging to the Sea Legend Line line, left the port of Qingdao and after little than 3 weeks the way through the Northern Maritime Road reached Gdańsk. Chinese communications referred to the "historical shortening of the distance between Asia and Europe", Polish media wrote about the "logistics gap", and Port Gdańsk announced that it "opens to a fresh transport reality".
