"The collapse of Bashar al-Assad's government began a fresh era in Syria's history. Iran's presence, which greatly shaped the Syrian conflict after 2 years, decreased. On the another hand, a fresh power emerged in Damascus, although limited in scope, under the leadership of interim president Ahmad al-Sharaa. In 2025, as many as 3 meetings were held between the president of the United States and the fresh leader of Syria. So are we dealing with a “new era” in American-Syrian relations?", writes Dr. Ewa Fronczak, an American and doctor of safety sciences in CSM analysis. Lecturer of the Academy of War Art and Guest University of Warsaw. She is simply a student and postgraduate of the Department of National Security, the Academy of War Art and the Institute of America and Europe of the University of Warsaw.
